Manchester High and Saline High prom goers both in high fashion last night as they posed for their Unforgettable Photos. Once again, I enjoyed looking at all the beautiful dresses and great looking Tuxes. Online ordering will be available through May 19th on the sites below. Manchester’s Mother son dance was a lot of fun this year. I saw many familiar faces and enjoyed watching the sweet bond that a mother shares with her son. As my two oldest boys move out of state on the same weekend, it was a reminder of my time with them at a younger age. Enjoy!

Manchester’s 2013 daddy daughter dance (fairy dance) was so much fun this year! There were so many beautiful girls in lovely outfits escorted by handsome dads, grandpas, uncles, and friends. Some couples had to wait for their turn in front of the camera, but I hope they agree that it was worth the wait when they see the photos!
Re-order forms were sent home with the photo, and re-orders are due by March 15th.

A few years ago, Unforgettable Photos began the ROAD CREW program, a twist on the traditional “rep”programs used by most senior portrait studios. Always striving to be different from other photographers in the area, we wanted to offer a program that was beneficial to the studio AND the parents, yet interesting and fun for the seniors. We take a small group, and venture out to some obscure location that wouldn’t normally be a destination for a senior photo shoot. The seniors in the program get a unique session, and the studio gets some awesome shots to use for brochures, facebook, and website, along with entries for the competitions we enter every year. This year, some of the parents made a comment about getting in on the fun, and I thought it would be interesting to see how we could photograph the two groups differently in the same location. So the Senior VS parents challenge emerged!
First, we took the seniors out to our location, an auto salvage yard. I had a concept in mind to have the two groups pose around school buses in a head-to-head manner. I gave the kids some direction as to possibilities, but wanted them to make the shot their own. They had some great ideas! Then I took the parents out to the same location and gave them a little info on the concept. They ran with it, too! The seniors were talking smack about how the parents would never climb up on a bus top or do anything daring, and how they have youth on their side, so they think they will win with the most votes. The parents set out to prove them wrong. So now comes the time for the public to decide! Who rocked the junkyard better? Seniors or parents?

Finally recovered from my crazy prom weekend, and have the images up online. Thanks everyone for your patience.
Prom was beautiful! We were at Manchester’s prom before dinner, and then at Saline’s prom after 8:00 for the rest of the evening. We saw so many fantastic outfits! The images will be posted online for two weeks. Images can be viewed and ordered directly from the website link. Any questions should be directed to uphotos@comcast.net or you can call Unforgettable Photos at 734-428-0888. Orders will take approximately two weeks to be completed. Saline prom orders will be mailed to your home instead of taken to the school this year. $6.00 shipping will automatically be added to your order. Manchester orders will be given the option of shipping or pick up from the studio.

It’s PROM WEEK! I can’t wait to see all the dresses and tuxes at prom this Saturday. Unforgettable Photos will be set up for formal photos for Manchester’s Prom, being held at Washtenaw Community College from 6:30-7:30. We will have someone taking candid photos throughout the night, as well as the crowing of the prince/princess and king/queen. 
We will be set up for formal photos for Saline’s Prom, at Eastern Michigan University from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. This year Unforgettable Photos is offering the option of ordering facebook sized digital photos, which can be sent directly to your facebook or mobile device. Also, we are offering a new custom designed accordian wallet album, which can feature up to eight images. You picked out the perfect shoes, dress, tux and tie, not to mention all the accessories, and the accordian album is the perfect way to highlight these details!

Friday night’s Beauty and The Beast themed sweetheart dance was so awesome! Kudos to Jackie Bonner, Jen Alexa and the PTO for organizing and running a wonderful evening for all the little princesses and the special guys in their life. The girls all looked stunning and the guys looked great, too. I saw so much glam I thought I was at the prom!

As part of the admission to the dance, each girl will receive ONE 5×7 with their guy. Some guys requested more than one pose, so you may see extras of them. Do not be jealous, they are still getting ONE 5×7, which will be the traditional one. 
I hope to have the 5×7′s delivered to the PTO ladies later this week, and then they will deliver them to the school so you can get them as quickly as possible. In the meantime, if you love your photo you can order extras (’cause you know grandma and aunt Sophia will want one too).

We will reserve your appointment with a prepaid session fee. When we schedule your appointment, we will also schedule a return appointment about a week later to view and order your beautiful images. Make a list of all the special people that you will need gifts for, because we have some fantastic products that you won’t get anywhere else. From ceramic or pewter photo ornaments and beautiful silver jewelry, to couture leather handbags and clutches, these custom photo items will be treasured for years to come. Your finished portraits and gift items will be ready to pick up about 3-4 weeks after your order is placed.
Fall Color MINI Session: $50
30 MINUTES: About 15-20 minutes of actual camera time, and time to walk to and from the woods, this session is short and sweet. This mini-session is not available as a stand alone session for families with small children~ but you may purchase up to two mini sessions and use them back to back allow more time for younger temperaments. In order to allow the most people the opportunity to take advantage of Michigan’s fall beauty, we are reserving 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. during the prime color weeks in October exclusively for fall color sessions. All Indoor sessions will be scheduled before or after this time frame during these weeks. The photographer will meet you at the park. (to be determined at time of schedule and consultation) NO clothing changes permitted.
